Savannah Maddison

Savannah Maddison, an 11-year-old singer/songwriter, has created "Savannah's Soldiers," an ongoing letter writing program that lets Americans and military families send letters of encouragement to deployed troops in Afghanistan. Since the program's inception in January, several schools locally and nationally have adopted the program, allowing Savannah to serve as a positive role model and leader for fellow students.

To date, "Savannah's Soldiers" has collected more than 2,000 letters through the help of participating schools, local community and military events, and via online submissions at www.savannahmaddison.com

Savannah Maddison is currently recording her first album and regularly performs the national anthem for the Miami Heat, Miami Marlins and Florida Panthers
