Enjoy a successful summer camp experience in an inclusive setting!
The YMCA of Greater Syracuse offers many camp experiences for children ages 3 to 14. Parents feel secure knowing that their children are in a safe, values-driven environment during their time off from school; that's why camp plays an integral part in their growing years. Activities vary greatly among camps but may include: swimming, boating, arts and crafts, horseback riding, fieldtrips, archery, sports, team building and character development activities.
The East Area Family YMCA is proud to announce it's recent partnership with the National Inclusion Project and our newest program Let's All Play- Inclusion in Recreational Programs! This partnership will provide training and additional staff to all of our summer day camp programs giving children with developmental disabilities the opportunity to enjoy a successful summer camp experience in an inclusive setting. All campers will come together to participate in recreational activities such as swimming, horseback riding, arts and crafts, archery, boating and more. Support staff are available on a first come, first serve basis in any of the East Area Family YMCA Camps including: Camp Iroquois, Y-Kids Camp, Y-Arts Camp and Y-Sports Camp.
