CAMPLIFIED is gearing up for the 2008 SEASON

Packed with 30 dates on the road and artists from both RADIO DISNEY and MTV.

Scholastic will be joining us for a GOOSEBUMPS promotion for campers 8 to 12 that will involve a unique contest with prizes for each camp. Age appropriate books will be sampled.

Fender Guitar will provide a clinic for older campers with instruction by the artists.

Hasbro will be supplying all campers with its toothtune toothbrushes for every kid - http://www.hasbro.com/toothtunes

CAMPLIFIED RETURNS TO CAMP, MARKING ITS FIFTH-ANNIVERSARY TOUR

Following four successful years of bringing a positive musical message to young campers throughout America, Camplified has kicked off its fifth anniversary celebration with the start of its 2007 tour, sponsored by Gibson Guitars, Scholastic Inc., AMSkier and Steve & Barry's exclusive new clothing line, DEAR by Amanda Bynes.

The brainchild of Alternative Venue Entertainment, a joint venture formed by Carl Freed and Aimee Berger, Camplified first came into existence five years ago. The organization's longstanding goal has been to provide teens and 'tweens at various summer camps with a rock concert and a VIP / backstage experience that includes interaction with performers as well as integrated activities with age-appropriately-targeted sponsors. "Every year, we go out on the road with a certain number of artists; all of the artists are up-and-coming, emerging talents, most of whom have had a certain amount of regional success, and the tour provides these artists with the opportunity to play in front of a 'captive audience,'" says Berger, "and we leave it to the artists to entertain and take advantage of the built in setting..." continue for full article

CAMPLIFIED 2007 enters its fifth season... celebrating rock concert experiences at SUMMER CAMPS. Grab the PRESS RELEASE (pdf).

SONICBIDS

Entering its fifth season, Camplified brings concert tours into prominent summer camps, featuring nationally touring acts from major and recognizable indie record labels. Camplified has reserved up to six performance dates for Sonicbids artists to participate on this summerï¿½s tour. Two Sonicbids artists will also be given an opportunity to utilize the services of an A-list rock producer to create a 2-song sampler to be given away to campers. The producer will provide production and mixing services gratis.
